Getting everything set-up and ready for the festival can be extremely hard work but is always guaranteed to be good fun.
Most of the equipment has to be shipped in from the mainland, tent, toilets, sound and lighting, transforming the green from parkland to venue in just 4 days.
The 'big top' takes some handling to get up and the team had their work cut out for them this year. With the green recently reseeded minimal traffic was allowed on the new grass so it was all hands on deck to pull the big top up.
Once the cover is on the stage is built ready for the gear coming in on Wednesday night. Diarmid and Brian on the sound and lighting desks have been coming up to the festival since the first year and look on the trip north as their holidays.
It is a mammoth task for the team each year but there is always time for some rest and relaxation at the end of the show.
Why do they all do it? They love the festival and they love being a part of the amazing team who put this event together each year.
