Frank Yamma is the voice out of the Central Australian desert striking a chord in hearts all over the world. Regarded as one of Australia’s most important Indigenous songwriters, Frank’s recent album Countryman received five star reviews in Australia and the UK. His rich voice and exceptional guitar skills combined with brutally honest tales of alcohol abuse, cultural degradation and stories of his country are spine tingling. In the UK & Europe in July / August to perform a string of dates including special performances for the BT River of Music at the London Olympics and WOMAD, Frank Yamma will be accompanied on keyboards by fellow Australian performer David Bridie. Seven time ARIA award winning songwriter and composer, Bridie has enjoyed a distinguished career as one of Australia's most innovative musicians. This combined performance featuring two of Australia’s most celebrated performers will be a rare treat.
