Kassidy

Kassidy

Kassidy marks the arrival of a major new talent in British music. The band originally formed as an occasional acoustic collective, four close friends with diverse musical interests who were involved in various bands and projects in their native Glasgow.

The band, Barrie-James, Hamish, Lewis and Chris, while setting up on stage with four guitars and sharing vocal duties, can all turn their hand to other instruments. Their shows are unpredictable- despite the core of the group being guitar and powerful vocal harmonies, they sometimes plug in, sometimes bring in friends as a rhythm section, show up with keyboards, whatever. They believe in music and doing what feels right, what feels like an extension of who they are becoming as a group. They’re genuinely born to record and perform, to make a worthy contribution to the illustrious canon of British music history.

Following critical acclaim for debut album 'Hope Street', their eagerly awaited second album 'One Man Army' is due out on 30th April.
