Winners of this year's One Step Further competition are Muran an exciting new 3-piece featuring Neil Ewart on fiddle, Mohsen Amini on concertina and Ali Turner on guitar.
All three members currently play on the lively Glasgow session scene and are all talented multi-instrumentalists who are passionate about traditional music, a passion that was originally sparked in their early teens by being tutored by some of Trad Music's great artists, through such as the Fèis movement.
Muran have rightly been called one of the top, young traditional music acts; Scottish and Irish music played at a racing tempo sure to get your feet tapping.
