Skipinnish the band are back with a bang after a number of years when partners Andrew Stevenson and Angus MacPhail, have been too busy with other parts of the Skipinnish brand to give much time to performing themselves. With a new and exciting line-up, new CD, and a wild summer tour of festivals, concerts, dances, weddings, radio broadcasts and TV appearances, they are well are truly back to what they love best – playing amazing Highland Music!
The most significant addition to Skipinnish is the stunning voice of Robert Robertson from Torlundy, near Fort William. Singing in both Gaelic and English, Robert is undoubtedly one of the finest young singers in the country and fits perfectly into the exciting mix of the new Skipinnish sound.
So with accordion, multiple bagpipes, bass, vocals, guitar, drums, and whistles all coming together to create a diverse range of musical power, this is a band not to be missed.
