Skye based internationally acclaimed accordionist and composer Blair is still, in many ways, Gaelic culture's best kept secret. A founder member of Runrig, his musical compositions such as Kate Martin's Waltz and Solus m'Aigh that have resonated across the globe and across the genres.
Blair released his fifth studio album, Stay Strong in June 2008 and in the same year was voted 'Composer of the Year' at the Scottish Trad Awards, a title that is more than deserved given his outstanding back catalogue.
We are delighted to host a truly unique show featuring his work and surrounded by a top class line up including Robin Rankin (keyboards), Gordon Gunn (fiddle), Chaz Stewart (guitar), Bobby Millar (bass), Kathleen MacInnes (vocals), and tbc (drums)
