Since capturing the crown of 'BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Musicians of the Year' in 2006, after only being formed for just over a year, 'Bodega' have gone from strength to strength and now feature regularly on the international festival scene both in the USA and throughout Europe as well as the UK itself of course.
With members drawn from all over Scotland, from Shetland in the far north to Oban in the south west (not forgetting Lewis of course) the band blend styles and influences from all these regions effortlessly, using a vast range of instruments to do so, including pipes, whistles, accordion, fiddle, percussion, guitar, bass and of course vocals (in both 'English' and Gaelic).
The rising young stars on the Scottish and indeed international folk scene. Prepare to party.
