'Awards, glory, we have watched in awe' since Julie's initial appearance at the Hebcelt in 1999 and her subsequent emergence onto the wider music scene.

The first ever Scottish Gaelic singer to win the Horizon Award at the prestigious BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, Julie kicked off 2008 scooping Folk Singer of the Year at this year's folk awards, where she amazed K T Tunstall who presented her award.

Julie has won the hearts of audiences around the globe, played every major festival in Britain, showcased in Texas and New York and is in constant demand as a performer of Gaelic music. She remains steadfastly true to her roots in North Uist and if you haven't heard her before, be prepared to be stunned by her music and her breathtaking vocal talent.

Julie will be joined by Eamonn Doorley (bouzouki), Tony Byrne (guitar), Duncan Chisholm (fiddle), Ewen Vernal (double bass) and Martin O'Neill (bodhran).
