The Festival Club this year is at the Art School on Renfrew Street which luckily for us is just up the road from the ABC so if you do have tickets for the Festival Club, plan a swift exit from the ABC as the Club gets really really packed (IMHO - they have sold far too many tickets for a very small venue - not the best choice !)

So, did everyone enjoy The Chair on Saturday night ?????? Must admit the Norwegian support act was not my cup of tea but The Chair sure got the crowd going crazy. Absolutely brilliant !! After the show (10pm curfew) we quickly headed up the Festival Club where we had to endure a few more Norwegian bands before at about 2.30ish the Peatbog Fairies came on and got the whole club dancing !! I did see a few Heb Celt T-shirts but the place was mobbed so I couldn't say hello... After the Peatbogs, the lovely lads from The Chair came on again and completely brought the house down ! What a night !! I think we made it back to our hotel room for 4.30 completely exhausted ! Sunday night Douglas and Brian came back on, this time wearing their ''Saltfish Forty'' hat and again they were pretty amazing !

chair was fab!

i did not see the norwegian support band at the main gig, but if it was the band with the 2 girls that played first at the festival club, i have to say i liked them too!

the festival club was madness - particularly with the peatbogs making an appearance! Awesome!

dancing till 4am :)

was so good to see everyone as well!

Sorry I missed out on it all this year - had a few issues at home with the plumbing and the very cold weather - they don't like each other!!!!

Sounds like it was an absolute hooly thogh! Peatbogs AND the Chair in one night???? That would have been too much for someone of my tender years.

See ya all in July though!!
