Something Someone

Hailing from Clackmannanshire, near Stirling Something, Someone is the solo project of singer songwriter Morgan Woods, who wrote, sung and performed all of the songs on her latest EP ‘Take To The Sky’.

Isle of Lewis musician Miss Irenie Rose guest performs on ‘Gone’ with Rachel Elliott [fiddle / backing vocals] and Allan Harkness [guitar / backing vocals] also contributing. Woods performs live with a regularly revolving pool of musicians under the moniker Something, Someone, who’ve featured on Roddy Hart’s BBC Radio Scotland show, Amazing Radio with Jim Gellatly and appeared live on STV Glasgow. They’ve supported the likes of 2015 Scottish Album of the Year winner Kathryn Joseph and performed at many of the top Scottish festivals. Woods kickstarted 2016 at the World’s largest winter festival Celtic Connections, and is set for a landmark year.
