HebCelt has announced a further release of festival tickets for its first full scale live event in three years.

These arena day tickets for the festival are being made available as the event is experiencing huge demand, with people from around the world keen to celebrate HebCelt’s 25th live event in Stornoway from 13-16 July 2022. Organisers say they continue to work on bouncing back from the Covid-19 pandemic.

With Early Bird tickets having sold out in record time and weekend tickets fast approaching sell out, the appetite for a return to the live format is proving to be strong. The release of day tickets allows festival goers the opportunity to plan accordingly.

The tickets went live at 10:00am UK time on Friday 25th February.

HebCelt is set to welcome headline sets from Texas, Seasick Steve and firm festival favourites Tide Lines. Alongside these top attractions, is a wealth of traditional and contemporary artists such as Julie Fowlis, Skipinnish, Colin Macleod, Admiral Fallow, Blue Rose Code, Trail Westand many more, with a strong focus on the local crop of emerging talent such as Josie Duncan, Scott C. Park, Sean Harrison & Band, Balach and local fèis project Treòir.

Depute Festival Director, Graham MacCallum, said: “We are incredibly excited to be just months away from our full live return and 25th anniversary celebrations. The absence of a full scale HebCelt has been keenly felt not just by the team here but by our community and festival family far and wide.

“We have been hugely encouraged by the response to ticket sales, which to date has outstripped any demand we have seen in the history of the event. We would encourage all of our regulars and those who would be new to the festival to get their tickets sooner rather than later and look forward to seeing them all on the green in July.” Day tickets for Thursday from £38, Friday and Saturday from £52, all with concessions available at this time. Full ticketing information can be found on the festival website, www.hebceltfest.com/booking.

The programme for An Lanntair will be announced next month and is set to play an exciting part in the celebration of Scotland’s Year of Stories.
