Niamh Corkey was raised by a family of folk musicians on the east coast of Scotland. Now living in Glasgow, Niamh’s songwriting has woven her Scottish and Irish folky roots with the passions for jazz, country and classical music that she has discovered along the way.
Winner of the Solo Artist Award at Donegal’s Folk Festival 2024; and Rising Star Finalist at the Scottish Jazz Awards 2025; she has recently toured the UK supporting Siobhan Miller in iconic venues such as London’s King’s Place and the Liverpool Philharmonic.
In early 2025, she debuted singles 'Complacency', 'Better Than This', and 'Daylight', setting the cinematic folk-jazz tone for her brand new EP to follow in early 2026.”
