Charlie Stewart is a fiddle and bass player from Glenfarg, currently based in Glasgow.
Having recorded with over 30 artists to date, Charlie plays in a duo with the harpist Rebecca Hill and enjoys performing internationally with a variety of artists including Siobhan Miller, Matt Carmichael, Juliette Lemoine, Ross Miller and Mischa MacPherson.
Highlights as a solo artist include a New Voices commission for Glasgow’s Celtic Connections, performing at Proms in the Park and gaining the title of ‘BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year’.
