The Laurettes are an up and coming Scottish all female band who have been described as a ‘Powerful Indie Folk Fusion with a Celtic Rock twist’, making big noise up and down Scotland, the UK and soon to be further afield! The Laurettes’ were featured on STV’s ‘What’s On Scotland’ after swooping in at #1 on Amazon charts and iTunes top 10 with their fiercely feminine new single ‘Witches’ from their Debut Album which was recorded at ‘Wee Studio’ with Keith Morrison. They have become well known and cherished for their ‘electric positive vibes’, alongside their energy and ability to get the full crowd fully involved in their performances on stage.

The girls successes became known after winning BT Murrayfield’s Scottish Playlist in 2021 and playing to over 60,000 rugby fans, when their debut single ‘Home Bird’ reached no1 multiple times in the Amazon charts after radio play on BBC radio Scotland, Celtic Music Radio and many more! 2023 has seen them storming Scottish festivals, touring with Peat & Diesel and supporting Skerryvore. 2024 will see the launch of their debut album and island tour!

As strong Scottish Patriots, their home land is at the heart of their songwriting, each song telling a tale of their travels and life on the road as festival loving female musicians running a mock! Best friends Lauren and Lynettes’ strong vocal harmonies are at centre of the girls’ performances which portrays the unique musical bond that they have formed over many years giving it laldy and partying on stage! With Lauren on rhythm guitar, Lynette on keys and violin providing fierce fiddle riffs, Ari Loughlin on electric double bass along with their incredible drummer - together they bring musical THUNDER - channelling ‘Fleetwood Mac taking on The Devil Went Down to Georgia!’

Audiences can be seen doing the ‘HEAVE HO’ rowing to the sounds of the ‘TECHNO VIKING’ ship and ‘Jivin’ and ‘Vibin’ to the dance moves of ‘DOPAMINE’ and many more original songs providing a vibrant, feel good atmosphere wherever they go.
